Michelle and Gautham had looked forward to this day for years. “I now pronounce you husband and wife” said the Pastor and every single person in the wedding cheered as loud as they would at their own wedding if not louder and at that moment I knew- how dearly loved Michelle was.
Weeks of preparation yet absolutely nothing could’ve prepared me for what I witnessed that beautiful morning. It was a celebration like no other. The day was beautiful, the decorations stunning- Michelle’s choices were just the besttt! Her friends and family made sure the day wasn’t just beautiful but also joyous. The love they had for the bride was contagious that the air was full of being so happy for Michelle and being grateful to God. And rightly so, for Michelle and Gautham are two of the sweetest people you’ll ever find. The couple can easily make you feel warm and welcomed. They are so sweet that I almost forgot that I was a vendor at the wedding and not a guest, lol! They trusted me with every single technical decision and suggestion I made - some decisions were major, like changing the location for the ceremony. Yet they trusted me and did it with a wide smile and I am so glad they did.
Countless hours of prayer led to this day and quoting one of Michelle’s closest friends, “...it was a miracle”. The day was above and beyond any of us could’ve hoped or planned for. The entire day was smooth as silk, there wasn’t so much as a wrinkle. God’s grace and mercy covered every inch of the day. We were very nervous about the weather and God held back the rains until the day was done and we had left. We were nervous about the million things that could’ve gone wrong, yet God was so gracious and protected all of us from everything.
We celebrated as Michelle and Gautham, after years and years, finally became husband and wife and we all left with our hearts full of joy and love. To say “praise God for everything” would be an understatement. But for lack of better words, praise God for every single thing both big and small.
Michelle and Gautham, you guys are an absolute dream to work with. I am so glad I had the honor of being your photographer. You guys are so loved and I pray that your marriage is a blessing to so many more. Here’s to a life filled with joy and happiness. Congratulations! You’re now Mr.& Mrs. Gautham!
