Anyone who's ever been part of wedding planning would agree when I say weddings are beautiful, but nerve-wracking. There is just so much to do! Shopping, invitations, vendors, more shopping, making it to the shops and trying to decide what to get....phew. But, weddings are beautiful. Talk about mood swings right? haha.
This particular wedding was all of the above and more. We had the usual excited planning, nerves, trying to decide what to wear.....and we also had a statewide lockdown. Which meant no shops. Now reality and fear started to set in. There was so much to do and so little time to do it in. I was super panicked about actually making it to the wedding without being stopped by the Police. Then there was the downpour on the day we were supposed to shoot details.
You get what I mean? Complete chaos.
But through each of it, I saw how amazing and gracious God was, to all of us.
We got every single thing we needed for the wedding. Not a thing was lacking. The downpour? Actually a blessing in disguise! Coz had I shot the details outdoors, it wouldn't have been cohesive with the day of the wedding. Thank God for an amazing camera that can handle low light like a beast and for the training of how to shoot details, indoors. The day of the wedding? Smooth as silk. Not even the smallest wrinkle.
God is faithful. He provided. And I testify.
It was such an honor to be a part of this wedding and to witness how God provides.
Praise the Lord!
p.s Nope, I'm not a wedding photographer and nope I'm not branching out. I shot this wedding for a personal reason. But can't wait to shoot y'all at your pre/post wedding shoots!
