SNIKLE

Have you ever had "oh I want that" and "man I have no clue what I would do if that happened" and "is that even possible?" all in one day? I did! Today! I've always wanted to be a 'BFFz' photographer, I've always thought I'd freak out if it rained during a shoot and I would've never imagined to do a shoot IN THE POURING RAIN! Praise God today was amazing! There was rain and then there was sun and then there was rain again and then... there was a 30 minute break in the rain, the light was beautiful and it was perfect for us to shoot in and then there was rain again...and we decided to have fun in the rain!

These gorgeous ladies met in 2009 and have been best friends since! 12 years of SNIKLE (Each letter is the first name of each person) and their first professional photoshoot.....Praise the Lord for this honor.

They were absolute champs throughout the shoot. Semmozhi Poonga's roads were full of puddles and they were like, "water? no problemo! Let's walkkk!" "rain? Let's get drenched!" "More rain in beautiful light! yay! Let's have fun!" Honestly? All I had to do was give them a bit of direction, protect my camera and take the pictures. They took care of all the fun. It was a beautiful day.

And I also saw the biggest lightning ever. Like EVER! I mean I've seen lightning before but not one within 20 feet of me and definitely not one that was large and purplish violet. My first instinct was," Whoaaaa" and then I looked up, realized I was standing under a plant and my 12th grade physics kicked in and I moved away from the tree,lol.

Anyway, we were all safe, all healthy, the camera and the phones were unharmed and it was a wonderful day. Thank God for every single thing.
